Sleeping in on Saturday may be a common indulgence, but it’s bad for your sleep schedule. If you want to get in some extra snooze time on Saturday but don’t want to ruin your Monday morning, nap in the afternoon instead.
Bernie Miller, supervisor of the Sleep Disorders Center at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona suggests that napping for up to 30 minutes between the hours of noon to 4PM on Saturday will help you get that feeling of catching up without blowing your entire circadian rhythm.
