Facebook Tests New Ad Network To Court Mobile Developers

Facebook is testing a way of distributing Facebook ads in third-party mobile applications that aims to help developers monetize their apps. This is Facebook’s latest push to get more developers using its services.

The company said it will operate like a mobile ad network that works with a small number of advertisers and publishers instead of outside ad platforms.

The test will extend Facebook’s ad targeting to improve the relevancy of ads and provide a larger reach for advertisers. The test is limited to only a few advertisers and partners.
